Mechanical Thermographic Surveys

This is a survey to find heat produced primarily by friction of rotating parts and moving machinery.

If the temperature found in the survey is of an unacceptable level (too high or too low) then this piece of equipment should be shut down and investigated thoroughly to prevent expensive damage or mass failure.

The survey is carried out when the power is still on so no interruption will be occur.

Prior to all surveys done a risk assessment will be provided along with a method statement explaining how the survey will be carried out safely and efficiently.

Nearly everything gets hot before it fails, making infrared thermography an extremely cost-effective and valuable diagnostic tool for use in many diverse applications.
